Evaluation Objectives:

This evaluation will be guided by three objectives within the scope set forth by the Legislative Oversight Committee:

  1. Map health insurance coverage and services offered by the State Administered Health Insurance Plan (HealthChoice).
  2. Compare HealthChoice’s benefits, costs, and funding sources to surrounding regional peer states and benchmark to the private industry.
  3. Identify opportunities for cost containment strategies.
