Operational Assessment of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission

Scope Description:

Conduct an operational assessment of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission.

Scoping Objectives:

1.    Examine the duties and responsibilities of the Commission as charged by law and assess how the agency executes those duties.

2.    Identify the agency’s funding sources and key expenditure categories.

3.    Assess the functionality and value of the agency’s current and proposed replacement electronic records system.

4.    Conduct a comparative analysis of other state’s ethics commission structure, operations, and responsibilities to identify best practices for compliance and guidance to those in public service.
