Evaluation Objectives
This evaluation will be guided by four key objectives within the scope set forth by the Legislative Oversight Committee:
Compile a list of all reports that are statutorily required to be submitted to the Legislature (including the House Speaker, the Senate President Pro Tempore, the Legislative Service Bureau, and any committees of either chamber).
Assess the level of agency compliance with mandated reports.
Determine whether the mandated reports are serving their intended purpose.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
